Oh my goodness!
Like the rest of us I have been receiving email spam for years.
I have often thought that they must be making money out of this spam otherwise why would they continue to spam spam spam away.
Working on a CTR or response of one in a million must work.
So I am assuming this is why they continue.
Blogging is new to me I have been blogging as an experiment for about a month now and have been surprised at the results that blogging can produce,
But my God I didn’t realise that i would be receiving so much blogging spam.
I am going to do a little research on this topic and will post my results here.
I do seem to remember some sort of plug in for wordpress about spam but remember ignoring it at the time thinking” spam what are they on about?”
I have received over 53 spam comments in the past 48 Hour ! My blog is new and doesn’t yet drive that much traffic some blogs must just be over run with spam.
I’ll post some more info here in a while stay tuned.

Hi
I registered www.kenwong.com.au back in November 2006. The main reason being to be able to secure the domain and also use the kenwong.com.au domain name in my emails.
Such as ken@kenw**g.com.au if you get my drift. I was working at Fairfax Digital in Sydney and was leaving after almost 4 years. I thought to myself if any one needs to find me then the easiest way would be to search for ken wong find my site and send me an email ( I am assuming of course a couple of things 1. that my site would even rank in the results which it still isn’t ?! and also that people would think to search for me on a search engine) Any way the original purpose was to stay in contact and have an easy way to find me.
Plus I have been working in the industry for a few years and decided it was about time I had my own site, and don’t you hate it when people supply you with a free web based email as a contact address, surely i could do better than that !
So the site was born.
I registered the domain with Domain central and am using servage as a host provider.
Why domain central I don’t know i just chose them, and why servage because a friend suggested so i took a look and liked what i saw. !0 Aus a month but they are quite flexible.
That was that for 3 months or so then I decided to experiment with making cash out of the web. Hey who knows maybe i can pay fro my ADSL and web hosting. That would make me very happy !
I pst tommorow tolet you know what has changes since.
